your Certificate of Eligibility for a VA Loan, you need to request a
Certificate of Eligibility. To do this, you will need to use
VA Form 26-1880, and submit your
DD Form 214. The DD214 is your proof of
military service. You may request your DD214 from the National Personnel
Records Center utilizing Form 180.
If you want
to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility, complete this form and submit with
your
DD Form 214.

Once you have completed your form, you need to submit it and your Form
DD-214 to one of the following Regional Eligibility Centers:
If
you live in one of the following states:
Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho,
Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana,
Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South
Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming
