VA Certificate of Eligibility

To receive your Certificate of Eligibility for a VA Loan, you need to request a Certificate of Eligibility.  To do this, you will need to use VA Form 26-1880, and submit your DD Form 214The DD214 is your proof of military service.  You may request your DD214 from the National Personnel Records Center utilizing Form 180

If you want to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility, complete this form and submit with your DD Form 214.

Once you have completed your form, you need to submit it and your Form DD-214 to one of the following Regional Eligibility Centers:

If you live in one of the following states:

Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming
If you live in one of the following states:

Alabama, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia or West Virginia

Please send your request for determination of eligibility
